I wonder if the prophet's death is the price for having the visions that will lead the people to safety? The Greek pantheon wasn't known for it's beneficence. Sort of, "Yeah, you're destined to save the people, but in return we're giving you terminal cancer." If this has all happened before, maybe the last time this part of the circle rolled around, the prophet was *literally* sacrificed. (edited for clarity)

I can't wait till tomorrow's ep. :) Two weeks without any new BSG is hard!

Hmm. I looking forward to it. One of the tings I really love about this show is that actions usually have consequewnces. From what I remember of the previews, this ep looks like it's going to deal with what Tigh and Bill have been up to recently.
