Go here if you want the a pretty good BG font. It's not the real thing, but it looks down right exact. To add the font to your collection, just open the zip file in your favorite file archival program and copy the file into your fonts folder from your control panel. People using Macs (*shudder*) are on their own.

*sniff* We Mac users get no love.

I have MacOS 10.3 (Panther)and it was easy. I believe the intructions would be similar for all 10.x versions of the OS. I'm not sure about 9 and earlier.
1. Download the zip file
2. Double click on the downloaded zip file to unzip it.
3. Open the battlestar folder that is created in Step 2.
4. Double click the TTF file.
5. If you like the font, click "install."
