Mini-Series Trivia: When Laura Roslin learns she has cancer, you see numerous ships flying overhead - one of which is Serenity from the show Firefly. More trivia here.

I wonder if they're going to come out with any BSG merchandise other than DVDs etc? People would be interested in those octagon shaped dog tags, and Kara's thumb ring I would think. Does anyone know of a site selling the new BSG merchandise other than books and DVDS? I looked, and all the stuff I found was for the old series.

I looked on Amazon and Ebay, but you're right. The only merchandise that isn't the original series are just dvds. But I'm sure that clothes, collectables, and the like will appear in the future.

I have no idea if the first link is endorsed or contracted by BSG...pretty sure the second one isnt, but, well its something. I saw a link for possible dogtags but that will take more digging. =)

cafe press stuff is generally pretty shoddy anyway, so it's just as well. ;) but i agree w/you, the bsg folks are missing a hell of a marketing opportunity! perhaps they'll release some merch to coincide w/the start of season 2...

it's not awful, exactly--but i ordered a shirt for a webcomic i used to read a few years ago, & the design faded really fast. i don't know about their other stuff, but i've heard general murmurings that their stuff isn't the greatest.
