Quite a few people seemed to enjoy reading a translation of a few extracts from a Chinese Battlestar Galactica (太空堡垒:卡拉狄加) fan board I stumbled across recently.
I thought I'd share a few interesting translations I noted from the Chinese subtitles in the episode Flight of the Phoenix. I'm using it as a lazy way to improve my Chinese character recognition. At first it was for my own amusement but I thought I'd share as it's kind of funny to see how some of the more dramatic phrases translate and also how calling someone a 'thing' in Chinese is far, far more serious than calling someone a thing in English. The post is here.
