Good BSG Icons

I know that the community good_galacticon already exists, but I don't think there's been any new members since the beginning of fall. Does anybody think it'd be a bad idea to create another community for good BSG icons? I'd definitely be willing in starting something like this, and all I'd need was a few more people to help me moderate the community. I'd also think it'd be a good idea for it to be solely a graphic-related community, and not one for icons only.

How do people feel about this? :]

Alright, I'm going to start up a community, I'll post the link here, and I'm going to open a thread (in the new comm) for moderator applications. I'm going to probably get about 10 moderators. That way, no matter what, there's bound to be someone in charge from time to time.

I've checked those out, but it seems that there's only one "elite" community so far. I love those kind of graphic communities. :]

Ooh, I'm in. It would be nice to work out a better moderating system, too--either more mods, or ones who have more time for the comm, or a rotation, or something. Mod inaction is kind of a pet peeve of mine--if the applications are open, people shouldn't be waiting months (or even weeks) for an answer.

Agreed 100%! I love "elite" communities for fandoms, because while I appreciate everyone's effort, if I'm looking for artwork, I'd like it to be at a certain standard. I know this may sound a bit cruel, but that's the way life works most of the time. But like I said, I love to go to other non-elite communities, because it's the effort that's so amazing. :]
