a) Various points.
b) Subtlety (or the lack thereof) of presentation of war themes themes by the writers, and both the positive and negative aspects of parallels to contemporary issues, a.k.a. "Thanks for the anvils on my head, Ron and Dave. Now can I get a Tylenol?"
c) How the Cylons' decentralised authority and consensus decision making differ from the traditional hierarchical model used by the Colonials, and how 'government by committee' actually reinforces conformity and makes individual Cylons less likely to speak out or disagree.
d) And finally, more various points, including a way Baltar could get back in the Colonials' good graces despite currently being perceived as Marshal Petain without the moustache. Spoiler-free, so just speculation.
