Hey everyone! I'm new to the community, though I've been a BSG fan since the miniseries aired here in the US! Anyways, I'm really passionate about this show, and while some of my flist watches it, a lot of those that do aren't from the US, and so don't really reply to my entries on it.

Anyways, I'm looking to friend people who are intrersted in BSG and will comment and such, and like to post about the show!

Ok, so a little about me:

My name is Tali, I'm a 19 year old college student

I love BSG to death, it's the show I get the most emotional over, and it's the one that always gets me worked up. I LOVED season 2 soo much more than season 1, just because of the depth of the character. My fave characters are Kara, Dee, and Caprica!Boomer. I my OTP is Kara/Lee.

I love scifi and fantasy. My favorite books are all from this general area and my favorites shows tend to be as well. My movies tastes go all over the place, but I love action movies, dark comedy, and heartwrenching dramas. I'm a huge fan of happy endings!

Fave tv shows: Buffy, Firefly, Veronica Mars, BSG, Supernatural, the OC, SG-1, SG: Atlantis, House, Bones, CSI, CSI:NY, Las Vegas, Dead Like Me

Fave Movies: Batman Begins, Resident Evil (both movies), Donnie Darko, Mean Girls, Graden State, Finding Neverland, the X-men films

Bookes: the Harry Potter books, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, the Anita Blake series, the Sameria series, The Dark Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop, anything by Anne McCaffrey (The Rowan is my fave by her)

Comice: Batman, X-men, Fray, Calvin & Hobbes, iharthdarth

If you enjoy this show you might like the Barrayar novels by Lois McMaster Bujold. Strong, intelligent characters of both sexes, wonderful dialog, serious, thoughtful handling of human problems and ... well, I think she's Heinlein's successor as far as popular SF, but she writes much better characters. The first book is "Shards of Honor."
