Adama
Adama should be trying to make nice with Roslin no matter how full of shit he thinks she is, but of course he's not. "She was dangerous enough as a symbol of resistance, but now with Lee helping..." Respect for Lee's abilities, or just acknowledgment that it looks really bad for his son and former CAG to be standing with Roslin?
People will believe all sorts of crap. Isn't he old enough to have realized that by now? He is perceptive enough to see that Cylons aren't just machines, and that love for them is just love. Does that make any difference, though? If a group of humans did to my people what the Cylons did to the Colonies, their undoubted humanity wouldn't affect the need to fight them.
Adama's tête-à-tête-with-a-dead-Cylon habit is starting to get a bit creepy. But he cries and I forget about that.
Lee
When Lee actually started to record the denouncement of his father, I was shocked and disappointed. That went beyond what principle demands. He redeemed himself by stopping and taking the tape. The tears helped, too. *sigh of relief*
Roslin
Laura plays the religion card. I have less of a problem with it when she acknowledges that's what she's doing. I also liked that she had doubts about giving the prisoners her blessing.
Caprica
To no one's surprise after last week's pyramid foreplay, Kara is getting it on with
The Simon Cylon is very attractive. Now I won't bitch about the female Cylons being so much prettier than the males (although Leoben has his own charm). I'm afraid that TPTB are pulling some stupid X-Filesish thing with Kara's reproductive system. At least we have confirmation that Kara doesn't want a kid. (See Galactica baby ban.) Also, those of us who believed Kara's mother was more than just emotionally abusive have been vindicated.
It's also no surprise that the Cylons need us for breeding, or that they need love from us, or that it's to fulfill a commandment. We've seen this coming since last season.
In conclusion: Kara kicks so much ass. Simon the Cylon is hot. Also, is it too much to ask that next week Lee be somewhere besides a meat locker? There's no way we're ever going to see arms in there.
