I'm a huge fan of Farscape, so I know exactly the episode and scene that you're talking about.
I wish they had let us see, but it does work to let us imagine. I still wonder, though, if that baby might already exist--back on Caprica, for instance.
What I don't get is that Six mentioned having a baby and Baltar didn't really seem gung-ho about the idea. Granted, he was still grappling with accepting that Six isn't human, but he hasn't really expressed any particular interest in procreating. So, why would a baby move him so much? I would think that the idea of a human/Cylon baby would turn him off, at first.
