Ridiculously dorky question:
I recently had the fortune of snagging a battlestar pegasus uniform patch. I noticed that there were several versions of it and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the differences.
The patch I got was one of the blue ones with white stitching. These were the kind I believe I saw the officers such as Admiral Cain wear. However, there were also patches that were black with white stitching. Does anyone know what the difference in colors means? (If anything.)
In addition, almost all of the patches I saw depicted Pegasus belonging to BSG 62, which is correct, according to canon, but I actually saw one which said BSG 63. The auction ad even specified it in the title, as if there was significance about the difference. Anyone know why this would be? (All the patches I am talking about were also from the re-imagined series, not the original.)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
