Some thoughts on 2x10, half way through the first season DVDs

This is my first post here. Having come to the series late, I have been watching the first season DVD all last week, taking a break to watch Pegasus. It served as a wonderful antidote to my displeasure at episodes 1.05 and 1.06 on the DVDs, and a very nice lead in to episode 1.08.
