Sorry about the OTness, thank you to the mods for making an exception and allowing me to post. :)
In my journal, I'm taking sign-ups for a Kink/Cliché extravaganza challenge: the Cuff 'Em, Vamp 'Em, or Just Make 'Em Come Already Kink and Cliché Multi-Fandom Challenge. All fandoms, any length, stories and art are both welcome!
130+ fen have already signed up for the craziness, and out of those BSG has...THREE PEOPLE. I want BSG representation, people. *g*
I start assigning whenever I wake up on Friday, so throw your hat in before then.

Reconciliation by crisis

I've noticed a pattern in the miniseries and season one that may set something up for season two, and that got me started thinking.
The pattern is in the way conflict resolution is (or isn't) handled. They have a habit of setting two characters in conflict with a dispute or argument, then immediately putting one or both characters in jeopardy, often requiring the rescue of one of the characters by the other, or else otherwise creating a serious crisis. Because of the jeopardy or crisis, the two characters are so glad everything worked out okay that they aren't mad at each other anymore and the conflict is forgotten, with seemingly no consequences.
( Spoilers through KLG2 )
