Cylon thoughts

Some musings on the Cylons. No real conclusions or even necessarily coherency. Mostly questions, and I'd be happy to hear anybody's thoughts on these issues.
So, if there are in fact twelve Cylon models according to that note Adama was given at the end of the mini-series, then we've met four, so far: Six, Aaron Doral, Leoben Conoy, and Boomer (am I missing any?). That leaves eight more possible models to discover, and any number of replicas. But, ultimately, only twelve different types of Cylons (not counting the older metal versions. I think. I was assuming the "twelve models" thing meant the human versions. Anybody know if I'm wrong?)
I'm wondering, in that case, how consciousness works among the Cylons. Six told Baltar that when one body was destroyed, her consciousness would be transferred into another body. Leoben told Adama the same thing. But obviously more than one body of each version is concious or activated at any one time. Can we assume that the Cylon are "telepathic" in some way? That they have means of communicating directly from body to body over long distances without the aid of external technology? Does that mean that they can share all their knowledge with every other Cylon? Only with Cylons that are of the same model type?
How does that affect the Cylon concept of individuality? Do they even have a conception of the "individual"? Where is the boundary from "me" to "not me"? Is it just that every Six knows what every other Six is doing and thinking, or is there an actual shared brain, and the various physical bodies (and whatever exactly is in Baltar's head) are more like limbs than autonomous creatures?
Do the Cylons believe in free will?
How would the concept of a soul work within the Cylon religion? Do they believe in a soul? If they're immortal (or think they are--and do they?) do they need to believe in a soul?
