A survey question, just for the fun of it.

If you could have one thing occur on the show, that has not occurred before -- or at least yet, what would be? It can be something big (say encountering another, intelligent species), something small (say a scene where a mechanical Cylon is giving orders to a 'biologic' Cylon) or something in between. It's your call. As per the "no spoiler" rule, if you ACTUALLY know something, please keep it to yourself. I'll post mine in comments.

i would love to see the roundup of the colonial survivors on their homeworlds, done in a fashion very similar to the nazi roundups of the ghettos during ww2. just to show people how brutal this was and also let people know there was something more going on behind the nuclear holocaust.

i have thought about this question a lot.

i was toying with the idea of a fanfic or guessay about that, but i am going to wait and see what the second half of the series reveals.

I'd like to know what they're doing about ammunition. There couldn't have been an unlimited number of bullets, missiles and nukes from the Ragnar Anchorage, so how are they resupplying?

I'd like an entire episode told from the point of view of one of the common people on one of the transports, following their life from the beginning to now.

I'd like to see one of Laura Roslin's faith-based decisions turn out poorly, or even disastrously. So far, her trip to divinity has turned up nothing but roses, and I have issues with that.

I'm ready for a real bad ass biological-cylon fighter pilot in a new type of cylon fighter.

I want a hot Starbuck/Racetrack affair.

....

What?

Okay, more generally and more seriously, a gay character would be cool. Gaeta, Seelix, whoever.

I second the request for a common people story.

This has been one of the big discussion points with my friends-the lack of GLBT characters. There ought to be some positive way to deal with the subject, yes?

[identity profile] telepresence.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't want them to deal with it. I just want the character(s) to be there.

What I mean is, I don't want it to be a plotline per se. Ellen and Saul being heterosexual isn't a plotline, their relationship is. Same with Starbuck/Apollo or whoever. I don't care, and the show doesn't care that they're a man and a woman, just that they're an ambrosia swilling dysfunctional train wreck. That's what I want.

With the Presidential election coming up in a few months, how about answering one of my lingering questions-who's going to run? The obvious answer is Baltar and Zarek. Would people vote for Laura knowing she will die soon? Does someone start an "Adama for President" campaign?

And can we have a live "West Wing"-style debate between Baltar and Zarek? That would be...interesting...

I'd like to see an episode made up of people dreams which reflect their hopes and fears for the future.

[identity profile] sunstriped.livejournal.com 2005-11-30 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
i'll second that! ehehee

i'm betting they don't have the "don't ask, don't tell" policy on galactica but their noticeable absence could suggest otherwise. who knows.
