I like it. Even that it's both, because I believe they can do multi tasking (both the cylons and the writers of the series.) Sharon's certainly the one we've seen "defying" her programming the most. And with the exception of last week's version of Six (maybe), she's the only one we've seen who's programmed to think they're human. All the rest so far know they're cylons. Fun times.
