My husband just had a fascinating thought.

Clearly the Cylons are up to something with Helo. Perhaps it's a test for Cylons, rather than humanity? After all, we see that Sharon's not quite up to snuff in some aspects.

Feel free to blast holes in the theory. He just came up with it and I was tickled.

I like it. Even that it's both, because I believe they can do multi tasking (both the cylons and the writers of the series.) Sharon's certainly the one we've seen "defying" her programming the most. And with the exception of last week's version of Six (maybe), she's the only one we've seen who's programmed to think they're human. All the rest so far know they're cylons. Fun times.

Do we know for certain that the Doral in the miniseries knew he was a Cylon all along? I don't think we can say one way or another, but it's possible he didn't.

I'm not convinced that miniseries!Doral knew he was a Cylon -- certainly the Six in Baltar's head did, as I'm sure she had deliberate reasons for telling Baltar to point the finger at Doral. But I honestly don't think that, at least up until the time when he was thrown in the brig, that particular copy of Doral knew he was a Cylon. Maybe not until he got locked up on Ragnar Anchorage, even . . . the panic certainly seemed genuine.

I'm really enjoying the uncertainty, though.
