I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about
13th_colony's NO SPOILER policy. If you're a member of this community, and making posts, you should have taken the time to read the community info, which I'm reproducing below.
This community's number one guideline is that we are a no spoiler community. Period. This includes speculation based upon spoilers. If you really want to discuss upcoming plot points, or have information about future episodes and want to share it with others, please do it elsewhere. If you post a link to a discussion in your LJ that contains spoilers, please indicate that it contains spoilers. That's all we ask. We don't like being hard asses about this, and all we ask is that if you're going to be a member of the community that you inform yourself and pay attention to a few (simple) guidelines.
Thanks.
Community Rules:
1. No spoilers. Period. Once an episode has aired on the Sci-Fi Channel, we ask that you use an LJ Cut to conceal spoilers for seven days, to allow people who may not have seen the original airing time to catch up.
Addendum: This is the number one rule, and one we intend to enforce. Posts that violate the No Spoiler policy will be summarily deleted, and the poster will receive a warning. If the poster violates the policy a second time, they will be banned. This is a simple rule, folks, and in a no spoiler community it's only good manners. If you're able to read and write posts, you're able to understand the rules.
2. This is a discussion, NOT a fiction or icon community. Please take posts related to fiction or icons to other venues (see below). On a related note, please don’t ask for sources for episodes here – there are other communities that will be glad to help you out.
3. Please respect all varieties of fans, including those who want to see heterosexual or homosexual subtext. Anyone who makes posts insulting, degrading or attacking someone else will be banned.
In addition, we’d like to remind you that this show is fictional, and real world comparisons might or might not be applicable. We have no problems with people who want to analyze the show by means of real world comparisons, but please recognize that this represents opinion, not fact, and respect those who respond with other points of view.
Honest mistakes are understandable, but there are limits and we don't hesitate to ban around here if we feel the situation is warranted.

Date: 2005-09-23 04:09 pm (UTC)I hope I didn't do anything wrong with my post a couple days ago: a guy over on the skiffy mboard had some fantastic luck in Vancouver...
It wasn't meant to be a spoiler post or spoiler discussion or even an episode discussion of any kind. :(

Date: 2005-09-23 04:16 pm (UTC)I once accidentally spoiled someone for the last ep of Farscape with something I didn't even consider could be a spoiler and I've never forgotten that. I try to be very careful, but...

Question--curious?
Date: 2005-09-23 04:40 pm (UTC)Don't want to split hairs or cause drama--but was that a spoiler?
Re: Question--curious?
Date: 2005-09-23 11:30 pm (UTC)Heh. Well, technically it is, but we're trying to use common sense here. That wasn't exactly what I'd call a point integral to the plot of the episode, and if you really were completely unspoiled for the ep, I don't think your particular comment would exactly have told them exactly what significance the towel had. So no, we the mods don't and didn't have a problem with your comment. If someone had *really* had an issue, they should have come to us about it anyway.
Oh, that towel was lovely, wasn't it?*g*
